One week to go until Heat 2014 – don’t miss out!
This year’s Heat Conference will take place on Wednesday 5 November, and once again SE2 has been working alongside conference hosts the CHPA and the Energy Institute to deliver an exciting and informative event.
The Heat Conference has become the meeting place for all those involved in policymaking, strategic planning and on-the-ground delivery of heat to our homes, businesses and communities.
With so much debate about decarbonisation of the electricity grid, the role of nuclear and the acceptability of onshore wind, it’s easy to forget that almost half of the energy used in the UK is for heat.
The Heat Conference will bring together over 200 senior professionals to explore the policies and practices that will help move us to a more efficient heat energy economy. We’ll be focusing on Lean Heat – cutting waste, improving efficiency and reducing costs to the customer. We'll be hearing from Amber Rudd MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary for Climate Change, as well as a line-up of expert speakers and panellists bringing international and local perspectives to the debate.
There are still a few tickets left - and it'd be great to have our third sell-out conference in a row - so why don't you come along! There are great discounts available on tickets for public sector bodies, charities and SMEs, and it promises to be a great day out.
