Rachael did a really effective job in empowering and energising our environmental champions and has since assisted us develop our sustainable procurement policy. SE2 are a small and local business who we are proud to have had an on-going relationship with.
We're delighted to announce that Rachael Mills has been awarded an OBE in the King’s New Years Honours list for services to energy efficiency and diversity and inclusion.
Rachael co-founded SE2 with Liz Warren in 2004 - and we'll be celebrating our 20th anniversary this year.
Sixteen years ago, way back in 2004, Liz and I met for a birthday lunch. Although it was April, the weather was gorgeous and we sat in a pub garden in Deptford sharing a bottle of wine. We were both freelancing for the Energy Saving Trust and Liz came up with an audacious plan: form a company together and bid for something BIG.
