Resident of Kensington and Chelsea? Could you be a Healthy Homes Ambassador?
We are currently recruiting Healthy Homes Ambassadors - people who work within their local community (from a block, to a street, to a neighbourhood) to identify the most vulnerable residents and help ensure they are keeping safe and warm.
Some people may not be able to get out and about because of ice and snow, they may have had an accident or be taken ill, their homes may be in a poor condition or they may be really worried about their heating bills.
By calling or popping in to check on vulnerable friends and neighbours when the weather turns bad, Healthy Homes Ambassadors will be able spot if someone is struggling and help them to access the range of services and support that is on offer.
If you are an RBKC resident who would be interested in being trained as a Healthy Homes Ambassador please contact Chloe on 0208 469 1333 or by emailing healthyhomes@se-2.co.uk.
The training will take place at Age UK Kensington and Chelsea, 12.00 – 15.00 on Wednesday 31 October. Lunch will be provided. Each trainee will be given a training pack and the full support of the Healthy Homes project.
