Offering support to people in fuel poverty this winter? Let us know!
Last year, we created the London Fuel Poverty Hub. It's a website dedicated to providing information about the fuel poverty services that are available across all 33 London Boroughs, and it's widely used by residents, voluntary sector organisations and health professionals as a shortcut to finding local advice and funding.
As we get ready for Winter (I know, it's still August...), we are updating the Hub, to make sure it contains accurate details about the advice, funding and support that can help people keep warm and well in their homes. We're contacting all of the London Boroughs, but we're also keen to hear from others - voluntary organisations, housing associations, community groups - who may have something to help beat the scourge of fuel poverty.
If you're providing energy advice, training residents, distributing Warm Packs, organising "warm cafes" or offering support to Londoners in fuel poverty, get in touch and let us know. Simply email liz.warren@se-2.co.uk and let us know what you're up to.
(Note that we are more likely to publish details of your advice or support if it is free to the householder.)
