Goodbye and Thank You to Chloe McLaren Webb
We are both sad and proud to let you know that, after 4 ½ years, Chloe McLaren Webb will be leaving SE2.
Chloe has been a great ambassador for us over the years. She has taken on every challenge that we have thrown at her, developing into a confident and highly capable Project Manager. Working in a small consultancy exposes you to lots of different projects. As a sample of what Chloe has achieved in the past few years, how about:
- Coordinating training for over 600 voluntary and frontline workers in a three month period, for the East London Affordable Warmth Programme
- Managing the secretariat for the London HECA Forum and the London Boroughs Energy Group
- Drawing together a database of over 70 retrofit case studies, for the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Buildings
- Coping with the CHPA Awards Dinner seating plan – no easy task!
- Coordinating the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership’s awards and their Community Challenge
- Researching overheating in schools (for the Department for Education), the outcomes of retrofit projects (for the Technology Strategy Board), links between water and energy efficiency (for EST and the Environment Agency) and much, much more
On top of all of this, she has kept the SE2 wormery going over the years – not a job that we are looking forward to inheriting – and she was part of the SE2 Scuttlebutts, who rowed 9 miles down the Thames and raised £2000 for charity last year. Here she is, with Kathryn (left) and Hannah (centre) celebrating an incredible achievement.
Chloe will be starting a new job in the Sustainability Team at Greenwich Council, so she’ll be nearby if we need her! We wish her all the best in her new adventure, and we know she’ll achieve amazing things.
Goodbye, Chloe – and thank you!!
